International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)

The IBDP paves the way for entrance into the world's leading universities.  A two-year programme, the IBDP approach equips students with the skills to gain a deeper understanding of knowledge through a metacognitive approach to learning; requiring elements of hypothesis, analysis and testing of theories.  As an IBDP student, you will acquire time management and problem-solving skills while developing your intellectual, personal, emotional, and social skills.  The elements of an IBDP course are ideal preparation for tomorrow’s leaders.

Established since 1968, the IBDP is accepted by all leading universities around the world, including Ivy League Universities in the US and the Russell Group of Universities in the UK.  Universities support the IB for international students as it ensures all-round education and it prepares students with the independent learning skills they need to become successful graduates. This internationally accepted and recognised diploma will prepare you for university life and beyond




The Sekolah Sri KDU® Advantage

Launched in January 2007; our IB World School embraces the IB philosophy of  holistic education and the development of the whole person.  It is complemented by the excellent learning environment with many state-of-the-art facilities and from September 2011 the department will be housed in our new, purpose built international school., Sekolah Sri KDU® has five intakes, totalling over a hundred students.

The IBDP programme at Sekolah Sri KDU® is led by Mr Muhammad Azhar Bin Abdullah.
