The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award
Sri KDU International School was established as an International Award Centre (IAC) for the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award on 1st April 2014 by the Award Foundation. In delivering the Award we work hard to engage young people in purposeful activities focused on gaining knowledge, broadening horizons and accumulating a diversity of experiences. The Award promotes positive youth development for young people to develop skills complementing their formal education. It also builds values of commitment, service to others, leadership, team working, determination and independence. Students in Year 10 start our Bronze Level Award programme in September, with students entering Year 11 being able to access the Silver Level Award. We run a Gold Award level for IB Junior (Year 12) students.
